Abstract
This article analyzes the importance, content, and main directions of providing economic education in the professional education system. It also highlights the issues of developing financial literacy among students, enhancing entrepreneurial skills, and improving their ability to make independent decisions in the conditions of a market economy. Furthermore, the article examines ways to increase the effectiveness of economic education based on modern pedagogical approaches.
