Abstract
Rectal cancer is often complicated by bowel obstruction, requiring urgent surgical intervention. In such cases, stoma formation plays an important role in providing intestinal decompression, reducing intoxication, and preparing the patient for subsequent radical surgery. This article analyzes the clinical effectiveness and advantages of stoma formation in rectal cancer complicated by bowel obstruction.
