Abstract

This thesis is devoted to the study of the circular economy as an alternative model of economic activity aimed at overcoming the shortcomings of the linear economic system “production — consumption — disposal.” The paper examines the theoretical foundations of the circular economy, its key principles, international implementation experience, as well as the economic and environmental advantages of transitioning to this model. It also analyzes the barriers hindering the widespread adoption of circular practices and proposes measures for state support and stimulation.
