Abstract

This article examines the role of emotional intelligence in foreign language teaching, especially in learning German. Emotional intelligence helps learners understand their emotions, manage stress, and communicate better. A survey was conducted among students. The results show that students with higher emotional intelligence are more motivated and more active in class. The article also offers practical recommendations for teachers.
