Within the framework of the study, based on classical, neoclassical, and endogenous growth theories, the role of the energy factor in the production process is consistently highlighted. Also, the mechanisms of influence on economic growth through the influence of energy efficiency, energy intensity, energy security, and the multiplier are scientifically substantiated. The research results show that the modernization and efficient use of the energy system is an important factor in the sustainable development of the economy of Uzbekistan.
