Abstract

This thesis analyzes the theoretical essence of the concept of investment climate, its economic content and structural elements. The legal, political, economic, financial and social factors of the investment climate are comprehensively covered, and the relationship between investment potential and the level of investment risk that form investment attractiveness is substantiated. The criteria for assessing the regional investment climate, the impact of macroeconomic indicators on investment decisions, and the institutional directions of the investment strategy are also analyzed. The need to increase the volume of investments, develop the capital market and improve investor support mechanisms within the framework of the investment activity strategy for 2019–2025 is scientifically substantiated. The results of the study serve to ensure sustainable economic growth by improving the investment climate.
