Abstract
This thesis examines the physiological significance of liver metabolism in maintaining systemic homeostasis, key enzymatic processes of carbohydrate, protein, and lipid metabolism, as well as pathological states and metabolic disorders. The liver serves as a biochemical hub playing a critical role in the prevention of metabolic diseases.
