Abstract

This thesis analyzes the representation and coverage of women’s football in the local press of Trabzon, a city with a highly developed football culture. Within the scope of the study, 69 news articles published between 2024 and 2025 were subjected to content analysis, revealing gender disparities and discursive trends in the media.
