Abstract
This article analyzes how scientific terms in Odil Yakubov's novel "The Treasure of Ulugbek " are rendered in English translation, drawing on various translation theories. As a historical novel that illuminates the life and intellectual path of the great scientist Mirzo Ulugbek, the work spans multiple scientific fields, including mathematics, astronomy, and geometry. These terms are discussed extensively in terms of meaning and content throughout the novel. In the course of this research, the translation transformations, methods, and the degree of equivalence used in translating units such as geometry, mathematics, calligraphy, somon yo'li, sitora, mudarris, chambar yo'li, sudsi-faxri, Zuhro, and Mushtariy are examined. A general analysis shows that the translator used modern equivalents for some terms, while others were translated through descriptive translation, transliteration, and functional equivalence, depending on the context of each term.
