Abstract

This article examines the effectiveness of interactive teaching methods in teaching Russian in higher education institutions of Uzbekistan. Based on an analysis of pedagogical theory and practical experience of the Department of Russian Language and Literature at Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute, key interactive techniques are discussed: project-based methods, discussion methods, role-playing games, case studies, brainstorming, and small group work. This article presents specific data on the impact of interactive methods on students' speech activity, motivation, and the quality of their oral and written communication. It identifies the pedagogical conditions under which the use of interactive methods yields maximum educational benefits, and outlines a range of limitations that must be considered in educational practice.
