Abstract
This article explores the pedagogical and methodological foundations of developing students’ entrepreneurial competencies through startup projects. In the modern education system, entrepreneurial competence is considered an important factor in fostering initiative, innovative thinking, problem-solving abilities, risk assessment skills, and the capacity to implement business ideas in practice. The article analyzes the educational potential of the startup approach and examines the role of modern methodologies such as the Business Model Canvas, Lean Startup, and Design Thinking in enhancing students’ entrepreneurial skills. Furthermore, it discusses the development of practical competencies related to creative thinking, teamwork, business planning, and attracting investments through startup projects. The research findings demonstrate that startup-based education is an effective tool for developing students’ entrepreneurial competencies, preparing them to meet labor market demands, and engaging them in innovative activities.
