Abstract

This thesis analyzes the environmental and economic importance of obtaining cellulose from waste products. It highlights that the continuous increase of municipal, agricultural, and industrial waste worldwide causes serious negative impacts on the environment and creates the need for the rational use of natural resources. The study examines the possibilities of obtaining valuable raw materials by recycling cellulose-rich waste, producing biodegradable biopolymers, and developing a circular bioeconomy. It also substantiates the importance of waste sorting, implementation of cellulose extraction technologies, use of modern equipment, and improvement of environmental awareness. The results of the study show that recycling waste can contribute to ensuring environmental sustainability.
