Abstract

This article discusses the role and importance of the competency-based approach in organizing training in the sewing field. The author analyzes the theoretical foundations of improving vocational training, the structure of vocational competencies, and adapted methodological approaches used in working with students with disabilities. The article substantiates the pedagogical conditions for the transition from a traditional educational model to a practical result-oriented model. The recommendations presented in the article are of practical importance in the educational process of vocational education institutions.
