Abstract
This article covers the pedagogical foundations of training special educators for the effective use of multimodal approaches in inclusive education and the formation of multimodal competencies in them. The study analyzes the theoretical and methodological essence of the multimodal approach, its role in the inclusive education process, and its importance in the education and development of students with special educational needs. It also reveals mechanisms for developing the professional competence of special educators based on the integration of visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and digital educational tools. The results of the study demonstrate that the use of multimodal approaches serves to increase the effectiveness of the pedagogical process, ensure individualization of education, and develop the cognitive and communicative activity of students in an inclusive environment.
