Abstract
This scientific article analyzes the importance of reflection and metacognitive approaches in the process of developing creative thinking. In the modern education system, the development of students’ independent, free, and innovative thinking skills is considered an актуальный issue. In this study, reflection is examined as a process of analyzing and evaluating one’s own activities, while the metacognitive approach is considered a factor that develops students’ ability to understand and manage their own thinking processes. The article scientifically and theoretically substantiates the influence of these approaches on creative thinking, methods of their application in the pedagogical process, and their effectiveness. It is also emphasized that an educational process organized on the basis of reflection and metacognitive strategies contributes to students’ ability to find unconventional solutions in problematic situations and to develop critical and creative thinking skills. The research results are of significant importance for the implementation of innovative approaches in educational practice.
