Abstract
This article discusses the impact of environmental pollution on the development of oncological diseases. The role of atmospheric air pollution, industrial waste, heavy metals, benzopyrene, chlorofluorocarbons and other harmful environmental factors in carcinogenesis is analyzed. The importance of environmental monitoring and the development of environmentally safe waste disposal methods for reducing cancer risks is emphasized.
