Abstract
This article analyzes the state of the medical personnel training system in Namangan region in the early 1950s based on archival sources. It examines the level of provision with mid-level medical staff, imbalances in specialties, the composition of teaching staff, the system of professional development, and the material and technical base of educational institutions. The study also highlights the ideological and educational aspects of medical training. The results make it possible to identify key features and challenges of the development of the medical education system during this period.
