Abstract
This scientific thesis is devoted to analyzing the practical application features of elasticity theory in economics. The concepts of price elasticity, income elasticity, cross-price elasticity, and supply elasticity are examined based on clear examples and existing literature. The thesis critically discusses policy development, tax burden distribution, monopoly pricing, and problems in agricultural markets. Particular attention is given to the limitations of the theory, including variable elasticity, data scarcity, and the challenges of dynamic markets. The thesis is based on 8 key sources and concludes with practical recommendations for economic policy.
