Abstract
This article describes the concept of conflict, its importance as a subject of scientific analysis, types, causes and factors, methods of management, and social and psychological effects. The main task of the science of conflictology is to study conflicts on a scientific basis, to identify their causes and to develop effective methods of solving them.
