Abstract
This article examines how authors utilize specialized vocabulary to express concepts and events unique to a historical period, thereby ensuring the artistic naturalness and "national color" of the work. Focusing on the prose of Oybek, specifically the novel Navoi, the study analyzes how the author conveys national identity through character traits, spiritual experiences, and social realities.
