Abstract

This article examines the relevance, potential, and impact of artificial intelligence technologies in the modern educational process. In the context of rapid digital transformation, improving the quality of education, increasing learning efficiency, and addressing individual learners’ needs have become key priorities of contemporary education systems. Artificial intelligence is increasingly recognized as an innovative tool that supports these goals and contributes to the modernization of teaching and learning practices.The article analyzes the main directions of artificial intelligence application in education, including adaptive learning systems, personalized learning pathways, automated assessment and feedback, learning analytics, intelligent tutoring systems, and virtual assistants. Special attention is given to the role of artificial intelligence in supporting teachers by reducing workload, facilitating lesson planning, monitoring students’ progress, and enhancing interactive and student-centered learning environments.
