Abstract
Historical reconstruction is one of the important directions of contemporary historical research, particularly in the context of digital humanities and the increasing application of three-dimensional technologies. Traditional historical research mainly relies on written documents, archaeological materials, architectural remains, visual sources, maps, photographs, and travelers’ accounts. However, these sources do not always provide an opportunity to visualize historical buildings, environments, ceremonies, and social processes in their original spatial form. Digital technologies, especially three-dimensional modeling software, provide new methodological opportunities for reconstructing lost or significantly transformed historical objects. This article examines the possibilities of Blender software for historical reconstruction and analyzes its methodological and practical significance in digital history.
