Abstract
This article examines the issues of improving the spatial and hydraulic structure of wastewater drainage networks. The influence of relief conditions and hydrogeological factors on the operation of the networks is analyzed. Furthermore, the methodology for simulating the hydraulic regimes of wastewater systems using the EPA SWMM software package, determining flow velocity, pipe filling degree, and hydraulic losses is covered. The research results contribute to increasing the energy efficiency of the system and preventing sediment accumulation.
