Abstract
The issue of the relationship between creative competencies of a leader and management efficiency in the modern higher education system is gaining particular importance in the context of globalization, digital transformation and socio-economic changes. This thesis analyzes the role of creativity in increasing the effectiveness of leadership in higher education institutions from a theoretical and practical perspective. The study examines the impact of creative competencies (creative thinking, innovative approaches, flexibility, unique problem solving) on the leader's strategic decision-making, team management, modernization of educational processes and institutional development. Based on empirical data and international experience, it has been proven that creative leadership significantly increases performance indicators (financial results, scientific performance, student satisfaction, and the competitiveness of the institution). The results of the study provide practical recommendations for improving the system of selection, training, and evaluation of higher education leaders. The thesis is written by combining theories of higher education management, educational psychology, and innovative management, and provides theoretical foundations and practical approaches for specialists in the field.
