Abstract
This article analyzes the use of the aruz poetic meter, one of the main systems of classical Eastern poetry, in the works of Sayfi Sarayi. The study focuses on the poet’s use of the hazaj, ramal, and rajaz meters, as well as their musaddas and musamman forms, illustrated with textual examples. The structure of aruz feet, the arrangement of syllables, and the musical and artistic potential of these meters are examined. The research demonstrates Sayfi Sarayi’s adherence to the classical aruz tradition and highlights the high artistic mastery of his poetry.
