Abstract
This article, using theoretical and legal analysis, explores the essence of professional legal ethics, its place, and role in the system of legal regulation and legal activity. It examines the fundamental ethical principles enshrined in professional codes, as well as the challenges of their implementation in the current context of the legal system's development. It substantiates the conclusion that professional legal ethics is an important condition for ensuring the rule of law, justice, and public trust in legal institutions.
