Abstract
This article examines the history of the emergence of Uzbek national song and dance arts, their role in the spiritual life of the people, and the state-level reforms currently aimed at developing this sphere. Based on historical sources, the study highlights the evolution of these art forms and the distinctive characteristics of regional artistic schools. The research emphasizes the significance of song and dance as integral components of Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage, reflecting national identity, traditions, and aesthetic values. It also discusses contemporary efforts to preserve and promote these art forms for future generations.
