It analyzes both positive and negative aspects of social platforms and their influence on emotions, behavior, and self-esteem. Special attention is given to social media addiction among young people and changes in interpersonal communication. The article highlights the importance of developing digital literacy and psychological resilience in today’s information society.  It also explores the role of social media in shaping self-identity, especially among adolescents and young people.
