Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive overview of the main concepts and scientific terms of modern quantum theory for students and researchers interested in the field of quantum physics. During the study, quantum-scale states, quantum-scale heterostructures, and some relevant scientific works in this area were analyzed. In particular, the meanings of fundamental terms such as “qubit,” “quantum dots,” and “quantum well” were explained, highlighting their role in quantum technologies. The methodologies and results of two promising scientific studies were compared using an analytical approach. Finally, the current trends in research on quantum physics were summarized in the conclusions.
