Abstract
This article is based on Ozod Sharafiddinov’s work “Why I Changed My Belief?” and analyzes the issues of personal belief, moral courage, and conscious responsibility of the individual. The study examines the formation of the author’s worldview under the influence of Soviet ideology, his inner experiences, and his courage in the pursuit of truth. Furthermore, the research highlights the complex relationships between loyalty and conscience, ideology and critical reflection, moral courage and social responsibility, viewed through the historical and reflective perspective of Sharafiddinov’s creative legacy. The article enables readers to gain a profound understanding of the problems of belief and courage not only from a literary, but also from a scholarly point of view.
