Abstract

The effectiveness of military education largely depends on the quality of the socio-psychological environment formed within educational institutions. Military-academic lyceums represent a crucial stage in the preparation of future military personnel, where such qualities as discipline, leadership, patriotism, and psychological resilience are developed. However, insufficient attention to the systematic diagnosis of the socio-psychological environment in these institutions may negatively affect students’ adaptation, learning motivation, and personal development.

The purpose of this study is to diagnose the socio-psychological environment in military-academic lyceums and to determine its significance in the educational and upbringing process. The research identified key psychological characteristics of student groups and assessed their impact on educational and developmental outcomes.

A mixed-methods approach was employed, including psychodiagnostic tests, structured questionnaires, and observational methods. The sample consisted of students from military-academic lyceums. Standardized psychological instruments were used to measure group cohesion, emotional climate, stress resistance, and interpersonal relations. The collected data were analyzed using statistical methods.

The results indicate that a positive socio-psychological environment significantly enhances students’ learning motivation, discipline, and psychological stability. The findings substantiate the need to improve psychological support services in military-academic lyceums.
