Abstract
This article analyzes the issues of patriotism, love for literature, and the civic responsibility of intellectuals in the works of the renowned literary scholar, critic, and public figure Ozod Sharafiddinov from scientific-theoretical and socio-philosophical perspectives. Based on the author’s work “Even If I Die, I Will Not Leave Your Embrace” and his views on the role of literature in social life, the spiritual essence of the concept of Homeland, the role of literature in shaping national consciousness, and the social responsibility of intellectuals are revealed. Furthermore, the relevance of Sharafiddinov’s ideas in the spiritual and political education of today’s youth is highlighted.
