Abstract

The relevance of this study is determined by the need to develop higher-order thinking skills among primary school students. TIMSS assessment tasks are particularly significant as they are aimed not only at evaluating knowledge but also at fostering students’ abilities in analysis, application, and reasoning. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to develop a methodology for enhancing higher-order thinking skills in primary education through TIMSS-type tasks.
